In its quest to enable a more crypto environment in the US, Coinbase is looking to support pro-crypto candidates in the elections of the United States, Coinbase CEO noted in a recent Twitter space.

The intent was revealed in just some hours following the announcement that it received a Wells Notice from the US financial regulators.

In the Twitter space, Armstrong encouraged crypto enthusiasts to speak up by reaching out to the members of congress and ensuring their voices are heard, adding that pushing a pro-crypto candidate will guarantee the success of crypto firms in the US.

“What we’re going to do is start putting out content where people can contact their congressman, donate to pro-crypto candidates, show up at town halls, make your voice heard,” Armstrong stated. “We are going to elect pro-crypto candidates in this country to make sure that our success is ensured.”
